About YIN Yoga & The Training
Yin Yoga is a quiet, healing and meditative practice. In this style of yoga we slowly and gently stretch the connective tissues of the body, over time gaining more flexibility as well as increasing the range of motion and lubrication in the joints. This practice gives us the time and space to go inward and learn to reconnect with the present moment and ourselves.
In this training you will learn the principles and philosophy of Yin Yoga, anatomy of the physical and the energetic systems of the body, the postures of Yin Yoga, alignment of the poses and how to properly and comfortably support the body using props. There will also be a detailed portion of the training on combining hands on adjustments, meditation and sound therapy to create the perfect Yin Yoga class. This is an experiential training for anyone who is already teaching or is looking to learn how to teach Yin Yoga, as well as students who are interested in the body and the healing practice of Yin Yoga.
About Reiki & The Training

Reiki is a Japanese form of energetic healing. Learning Reiki is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself and the world. The First Degree of Reiki provides an understanding of its history, the spiritual principles, the body’s main energy centers, and how to work with life force energy.
Meditation and breathing techniques are key aspects of this degree. Once you obtain the First Degree of Reiki, you will have the tools to achieve a centered and balanced life. Other teachings include; hand positions for self-healing and energy awareness. In this training you will experience a combination of lecture, discussion and experience.
Finally you will be receiving the First Degree of Reiki Attunements from the Reiki Master Teacher. The attunements given will open channels in your energy system, allowing you to take in the vital life force energy, which is Reiki. The attunements take you through a process that is deeply connected to your mental and emotional being. This is a 21-day cleansing period to bring healing and balance into your life.
Reiki L2 (Second Degree):
In the Second Degree Reiki Training you will revisit the spiritual principles as well as the energy system within the body. Mental and emotional healing is the focus in the Second Degree of Reiki. How to Prepare for a Reiki Attunement:
A Reiki attunement is a process of empowerment that opens your crown, heart and palm chakras and connects you to the unlimited source of Reiki energy. During the attunement, and for some time after, changes will be made by the attunement energy to enable you to channel Reiki. These changes take place metaphysically in the chakras, aura and in the physical body. An emotional as well as a physical toxic release can take place as part of this clearing process.
In order to improve the results you receive during the attunement, a process of purification is recommended one week before your Reiki attunement. This will allow the attunement energies to work more efficiently and create greater benefits for you. The following steps are optional; follow them if you feel guided to do so.
- Eat clean wholesome foods with high vibrations such as: Fresh organic fruits and vegetables, legumes, nuts and seeds
- Drink plenty of water (at least ½ your body weight in ounces)
- Get an adequate amount of rest the week prior
- Eliminate or minimize the use of sugar, caffeine, drugs, alcohol and tobacco (No alcohol use for at least three days prior to the attunement)
- Get 30min-1hr of daily physical exercise
- Meditate for ½ hour each day
- Go for quiet walks, and spend time in nature
- Begin to journal your thoughts, feelings and emotions
