Trilogy offers a variety of yoga classes in La Jolla including vinyasa, aerial, restorative, meditation, prenatal, lyra, aerial for kids, power vinyasa, yin and ongoing yoga workshops in San Diego from global yoga teachers.

AERIAL CLASSES

We offer numerous aerial yoga classes from restorative stretching to strength building and advanced tricks. Trilogy aerial yoga is suitable for all ages and bodies, from beginners to advanced yoga students. We also offers private aerial and Lyra classes for small groups - either outside on our rooftop overlooking La Jolla, or in our indoor spacious yoga studio!

Vinyasa CLASSES

Flow on our rooftop studio and in our large Earth Room which holds over 60 yogis, or sweat in our Moon room - a gently heated Infrared studio - a therapeutic way to detoxify. Every vinyasa class focuses on breath to movement in some capacity and can include a spiritual, healing or strength aspect dependent on the teacher. Inhale, exhale, repeat.

Restorative CLASSES

We focus on healing the body and mind through deep relaxation and release of mental, emotional, and physical stress. Class combinations include Yin Yoga (a more restorative from of yoga) with Reiki (a form of energy healing). Yin Yoga postures gently stretch, while Reiki helps remove stagnant energy.

vINYASA YOGA CLASSES

VINYASA

Our Vinyasa classes are a perfect balance between attention to alignment and a fluid and graceful flow. Connecting poses together and flowing with the breath creates a dance like movement that builds heat in the body and calmness in the mind. After the initial warm up a creative sequence of standing postures and sun salutations with fill the majority of the class. Including warrior poses, back bends and some basic balances and inversions. The class ends with deep stretches and a relaxing savasana. This class is held in our infrared heated Moon Room with temperatures between 80 and 85 degrees. 

LEVEL: All Levels. For complete beginners, we recommend our Healing Touch Vinyasa & Restorative classes. 

STRENGTH & SERENITY

This is Trilogy's signature class. Expect a powerful strength building series for the first 50 minutes of class. Top that off with a deep, sensual restorative stretch session for the last 20 minutes and you will be fully nourished, mind body and soul!

Our standing series differs from the vinyasa as poses are held a little longer. Mindfulness within the pose is encouraged as you explore the connection to body and breath within the poses, rather than between poses. Expect thoughtful and dynamic series, created to challenge and build mental and physical strength in the body. Inversions and balances may be explored. These classes will NOT be filled with repetitive chaturangas. The combination of powerful poses, softened at the end with the deep stretching creates a fulfilling and serene experience. Blissful is the word. See you on the mat. This class is held in our infrared heated Moon Room with a temperature between 80 and 85 degrees.

POWER HOUR

Our Power Hour classes are intended to give you a challenging, yet accessible workout. We want you to break a sweat! These classes will include a variety of standing poses, basic balances, back bends, twists and a good amount of strength building poses. Each class will be slightly different, depending on the teacher's unique style. You can count on a good work out, with a blissful and well deserved savasana to get you ready to face the day ahead. Short but sweet! This class is held in our infrared heated Moon Room with a temperature between 80 and 85 degrees.

LEVEL: All Levels. For complete beginners, we recommend our Healing Touch Vinyasa & Restorative classes.

HEALING TOUCH VINYASA

Our instructors will guide you through a vinyasa class with special attention to alignment and hands on adjustments. Extra attention to alignment ensures that your practice stays safe and supportive for your body over a great number of years. Having extra hands on touch creates a very loving and nurturing space, allowing for a deeper healing experience. This class is held in our infrared heated Moon Room with a temperature between 80 and 85 degrees.

LEVEL: All Levels. Recommended for beginners.

PRENATAL YOGA

Enjoy the many physical and emotional benefits of yoga in a safe, nurturing environment. Sequences and postures are selected and modified specifically to prepare the mother for the birthing experience while nurturing the connection with her baby. Prenatal Yoga is a wonderful way to nourish you and your baby physically and mentally.

This is our gift to you! An absolutely free class every week! Connect with your local yoga community on our beautiful outdoor rooftop yoga deck.  Each week features a different teacher, each with their own unique style and emphasis. Variations and modifications will be available. Suitable for all levels. COME AND HAVE FUN!!!

AERIAL YOGA CLASSES

AERIAL YOGA L1

This class will flip your perspective, heal your body, and begin to explore your adventurous side! By moving into various postures in the aerial hammock, you will build core strength, achieve better alignment, and experience spinal decompression and full body relaxation. You will spend time both on the floor and in the hammock increasing range of motion, rebooting the circulatory system, and having fun. Modifications are used if necessary. This is a safe and highly therapeutic class. First timers welcome! Suitable for all levels. Please bring a yoga mat to this class. We offer mat rentals for $2. 

LEVEL: L1 - All Levels.

AERIAL LYRA (Hoop) L1

The Lyra is a steel hoop that is suspended from the rig. It is both an art form and an amazing and fun way to exercise.

The class will include a warm up, strength training and stretching. You'll learn at your own pace and interest level. Beginners will focus on proper body position, muscle usage, basic positions, and basic balances. You will learn how to move from different positions with grace and ease while gaining strength and control.More advanced students will learn more difficult skills, choreography and artistry. As your strength and confidence increase, you'll be amazed at what you are capable of doing.

It is important to wear clothing that covers the backs of your knees and under your arms. You will want a shirt that can be tucked in to give your back protection. Long stretch pants or footless tights and a tight-fitting top are suggested. Tighter fitting clothing that gives you full range of motion is best. Shorts are not recommended since the back of your knees will be on the bar, and loose clothing may get in the way. Please bring a yoga mat to this class for the initial warm up. We offer yoga mat rentals for $2.

LEVEL: L1 - recommended for beginners and above.

AERIAL KIDS L1 - AGES 4-6

This class is going to teach your children the value of movement at a young age. Our classes give our kids program an opportunity to incorporate mindfulness, therapeutic tools and sensory integration strategies through aerial yoga. This class is meant to stimulate motor control, to stretch, and to strengthen. Kids will also work through small games and team building projects. Kids learn to start navigate using body and mind skills together working through small games and team building projects. Introducing kids to circus work and body art movement. Kids aerial yoga is FUN, playful, and a creative way for kids to build accomplishment skills while exercising their mind and body. 45- 60 min. Please bring a yoga mat to this class for the initial warm up. We offer yoga mat rentals for $2.

LEVEL: L1 - recommended for beginners and above.

AERIAL KIDS ADVANCED - AGES 7-12

Your kid is now ready to advance to the high rig. An opportunity to learn, execute and experience the rewards of their accomplishments. Aerial yoga has the power to move the body, welded the mind and now working on high rig is going to challenge your child even further. The advanced level kid's class at Trilogy Sanctuary will give students a platform to perform, a window opening to the circus performance world, and the opportunity to develop, execute, and to build a performance flow. This class is design for kids who are looking to possible perform at Trilogy's monthly Open Mic Nights. This class empowers kids to learn skill, share them and teach them to inspire others and themselves. Invite only. Please bring a yoga mat to this class for the initial warm up. We offer yoga mat rentals for $2.

LEVEL: L2 - minimum of 5 Level 1 classes completed at Trilogy Sanctuary.

AERIAL PILATES

Aerial Pilates uses the aerial silk to act as a Pilates reformer to take your Pilates practice to new heights! Pilates is a form of repeated low-impact yet endurance focused exercises. This class will be sure to give you a workout as Pilates aims to strengthen and lengthen your muscles.  

LEVEL: L1 - recommended for beginners and above.

AERIAL FITNESS L2

It is important that you have taken AT LEAST 3 Aerial Yoga L1 classes before attending a level 2 class. The class moves more quickly and you must be able to get in and out of basic inversions without guidance. Those who do not know the basic language and foundations for the main poses will hold the class up.

This aerial yoga class focuses on building strength and stamina through a variety of conditioning exercises. Movements include core and upper-body strengthening exercises and deep stretches to improve flexibility. Strengthen and tone your body in preparation for more advanced Aerial classes. This class will be a very challenging work out. A great class to build strength for our tricks classes. Please bring a yoga mat to this class. We offer mat rentals for $2.

LEVEL: L2 - minimum of 5 Level 1 classes completed at Trilogy Sanctuary.

AERIAL STRENGTH L2

RESTORATIVE YOGA CLASSES - YIN | REIKI | AERIAL | VINYASA

YINKI

This restorative class focuses on healing the body and mind through deep relaxation and release of mental, emotional, and physical stress. Yinki® is a unique class combining Yin Yoga (a more restorative from of yoga) and Reiki (a form of energy healing). Yin Yoga postures gently stretch and rehabilitate connective tissues, while Reiki helps remove blockages or stagnant energy.
 
This class is spent mostly on the ground, with only stretching poses, each pose held for 3 to 5 minutes. It can be more of a mental challenge rather than physical as it forces you to slow down and be still. Something that the majority of us find very difficult! It is a very meditative class and is the perfect end to a long day. It is relaxing and incredibly healing.
 
Each Yinki® class includes breath-work, mantra, healing crystal bowls, and meditation as you move through your practice with certified Reiki practitioners. This class is held in our infrared heated Moon Room with a temperature between 80 and 85 degrees.

AERIAL HEALING L1

Healing sky yoga is a gentle, calming, and therapeutic aerial yoga class. Using the aerial hammock as a prop, you will flow through restorative poses that are focused on stretching and decompressing the spine. By moving at a slower pace, you will enable your body to open up not only physically, but mentally and emotionally as well. Honor yourself by strengthening both your body and mind through healing sky yoga. Inversions may be help for longer periods of time in this class. Please bring a yoga mat to this class. We offer yoga mat rentals for $2.

LEVEL: L1 - All Levels. 

AERIAL RESTORE LOW FABRIC

De-stress with a lowered fabric suspended closer to the ground level where you get ready to experience a gentle, calming, therapeutic decompression of spine, softening of muscles and a surrender of mind. Using the support of the fabrics and extra props for the body, it becomes a brush stroke flow of movements that release, restore, and stretch the body to a new construction. As the body becomes present and still, you will find yourself generating an evolved relaxed thinking, a ease of softness, and a recharged state of mind” a moment to disappear and to reappear anew.

LEVEL: All levels.

BALANCE AND RESTORE

This restorative class will guide you through a gentle sequence with longer holds and deeper postures. At a slower pace, attention to breath, alignment, and self care will be emphasized, as well as chanting and meditation. Props will be encouraged to assist in creating a relaxing environment/pose best suited for the individual body and needs. Both dynamic and static postures will be explored, encouraging adaptability and release of expectations. You will learn to listen to your body, quiet the mind, and open the heart, as you leave feeling nourished and relaxed.

MATS: Please bring a yoga mat to all classes, aerial uses for the initial warm up. We offer yoga mat rentals for $2.
LATE POLICY: We allot for a 6 minute grace period for all classes. Any cancelation less than 24 hours before the class will result in a $10 charge to your account.
